A condition of planning for a single dwelling was to have a Phase 1 desk study of the building plot. Historic maps showed a former 19th century gas holder on adjoining land with a risk of contamination to our site. We asked Demeter Environmental to complete the work. With a very professional approach the survey, including soil samples was undertaken. The report to Stirling Council sufficiently impressed them that they telephoned me to congratulate Demeter Environmental on their detailed findings and presentation. Our thanks go to the team.
