A Phase I desk study report was required to support the application for the erection of a replacement commercial building, the site comprised of a showroom, caravan storage area as well as a workshop. The historical review did not identify any credible sources of contamination either on or off the site.

As the presence of made ground could not be discounted, the desk study report recommended that made ground should be removed form foundations and the alignment of any water mains.

The desk study report was formally submitted in February 2015, the desk study report can be accessed form the Havering Planning Portal as well as the memo discharging the condition.
