Synopsis:

Due to the sensitivity of the proposed development and the close proximity to in-filled land, Havering Council attachedĀ  the contaminated land planning condition tot he proposed development.

The site comprised of a ground floor open parking area, the historical review identified a number of parcels of in-filled Land within 250m of the site, which required the incorporation of gas protection measures to the proposed dwellings rather than undertake gas monitoring.

The report was formally submitted in April 2012 (Q0077.12) and the recommendations of the report formally accepted (the desk study report and memo accepting the report are onĀ  the Havering planning portal).
