Synopsis:
Due to the sensitive nature of the proposed development, a contaminated land planning condition was attached to the decision notice.
The walkover survey revealed the site to be part of the garden of the adjacent dwelling, no evidence of contamination was observed during the walkover survey and there was no evidence of any potential sources of contamination on the historical O.S. maps.
The desk study report did not propose any further works, which was formally submitted in February 2012 (12/00293/WCC ) and the desk study report was submitted to support the application (Z Proposed Plans), which was accepted by Doncaster Council and the new application did not contain the contaminated land planning condition.
