Synopsis:

In order to support the planning application for the erection of a dwelling, Demeter Environmental were commissioned to prepare a desk study report for the site.

The desks study report identified a former sand pit adjacent to the site, which was inspected as part of the walkover survey and as the pit was a lake, it was demonstrated that the sand pit was not a source of contamination and the desk study report concluded that no further works were required.
