The site comprised of an open parcel of sloping land, the historical Ordnance Survey maps indicated a building was present on the site form the first edition map to circa 1976. A number of parcels of in-filled land were identified to be present within 250m of the site.
Made ground was identified in the hand held trial pits excavated as part of the walkover survey.
