Due to the agricultural use of the site and the sensitive nature of the proposed development (residential) a contaminated land planning condition was attached to the decision notice.

The site comprised of a timber clad single story barn which was being uses as residential garages). A fuel tank was identified on the northern boundary of the site, and as there was no evidence of releases, was discounted as a credible source.

No credible sources of contamination were identified in the desk study report and no further works were proposed.
